Production
We soil test fields yearly and use this data to apply the proper amount and types of fertilizer to the soil. This allows us to maximize production with the least environmental impact.
Throughout the growing season, agrologists visit fields twice per week , monitoring the needs of the crops. With such attention, we can quickly detect issues and apply the best product in a timely manner. We use both high clearance sprayers and an airplane, all equipped with the latest technology, in order to place the least chemical needed on the specific problem areas. We use satellite technology and agrologist's reports to choose the areas of the fields requiring attention. Use of RTK GPS enables the equipment to accurately place the product to the inch. |

Operations
With a fully equipped shop and service vehicles our service manager, Dave Windecker, oversees the maintenance of all the equipment. Dave works daily with operators to keep equipment safe and optimally maintained. This keeps equipment operating with minimal downtime. In the off-season, every piece of equipment is brought into the shop and thoroughly inspected to be prepared for the next season. Our trucks spend the winter inside a heated shop and utilize the full wash bay, keeping the equipment clean year around. All of the equipment is stored indoors when not in use. |

Equipment
We operate John Deere equipment with the latest technology. This allows us to maximize production and quality on every acre of the farm. Through the John Deere Operations Center we can analyze all aspects of equipment operations and find efficiencies with the data.
Our Air Tractor 502 XP is also a key part of crop protection. It allows us to apply products to the crops when the weather isn't cooperating and wheeled sprayers cannot operate without leaving large ruts. The XP is the quietest agricultural aircraft on the market. This allows for minimal impact on the surrounding communities. |
